Recap 'animal grouping' from Week 1.
Main activities
1. Class Activity:
Watch film: 'differences and similarities between animals'.
2. Group Activity:
Children complete the 'differences and similarities' worksheet,
giving 4 similarities between and 1 difference of each of: grass snake, sparrow, fox.
3. Class Activity:
Watch Powerpoint: 'different animals may be similar inside'.
4. Individual Activity:
On the 'skeleton' worksheet match the animal outline to the correct skeleton.
Draw the animal outline around the skeleton and label the animal.
Plenary activity
Q: What would happen if you suddenly didn't have a skeleton?
