Children presented with 15+ items which they sort into living/non-living. 'What are the shared characteristics of living things?' Draw up a collective list.
2. Class Activity:
Watch Powerpoint: 'living things and their needs'.
3. Group Activity:
Look at the rabbit/rose sheet. Draw up list of five things each needs to thrive.
4. Class Activity:
Watch Videoscribe: 'dead versus non-living'.
5. Class Activity/Discussion:
Study Powerpoint of 'dead and non-living things'. Discuss and agree which is which.
