1. Class Activity:

Main activities 

1. Group Activity:

Applying their own initiative children try to sequence images of butterfly life cycle stages.

 

2. Class Discussion:

How did the children reach their conclusions?

 

3. Class Activity:

Watch Powerpoint: 'the butterfly life cycle'.

 

4. Individual activity:

Each child draws and labels the butterfly life cycle (as per the final slide of the Powerpoint).

 

5. Class Activity:

Watch Powerpoint: 'insect life cycles'.

 

6. Group Activity:

Represent dramatically an insect life cycle. Show to class.
