Wildlife Aid Education is a comprehensive free resource of natural world education provided to schools, parents and children, and supported by leading wildlife charity the Wildlife Aid Foundation.
Having launched this website in March 2014, the Wildlife Aid Education team are already working on plans for its future development and the further services it can offer to schools.
With over 20,000 primary schools in England and Wales, and the opportunity to provide outstanding, child-friendly resources for more than 350,000 teachers and over two and half million children, there are clearly exciting challenges and opportunities ahead.
Meanwhile our aim is to keep this website and all its expanding and developing contents free - and as far as possible advertisement-free - and available for the use of all.
The initial development and launch of Wildlife Aid Education has been entirely funded by the Wildlife Aid Foundation. However, the Foundation receives no government or public funding of any kind, relying instead entirely on the financial support of very many individual people and organisations to carry out its work - and with the ever increasing pressures on wildlife, the cost of that work continues to rise.
In order to realise our plans, and maximise the service to schools we provide, we are keen to talk with companies, organisations or individuals who may be prepared to offer financial support and make the next stage of this exciting journey with us.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of becoming a sponsor or partnership organisation to help support the next phase of development for Wildlife Aid Education, please contact Benedict Martin, Wildlife Aid Education Director, either by email to info@wafeducation.org.uk or by phone on 01372 374167. Thank you.
